Prices and Quotations

Prices are in U.S. dollars, and are subject to change without notice. We will gladly quote current prices on request. Telephone quotes are valid for 30 days, written quotes for 60 days unless otherwise stated. Acceptance by the seller is expressly limited to the Standard Terms of SPEX SamplePrep, LLC.

Confirming Orders

Mark confirming orders clearly. Failure to do so will result in a 25% restocking charge for duplicate shipments.

Domestic Orders

Payment
Payment terms are net 30 days to rated organizations. If you do not have an established account with SPEX SamplePrep, LLC. please provide credit information and several commercial references, or remit payment including freight charges with order. Payment may also be made by credit card (Visa, MasterCard or American Express).

Shipping
Our shipping terms are Ex Works Metuchen, N.J.; any other terms are by special arrangement only. Most items are shipped by UPS or motor freight, depending on the size and weight of the shipment. Various express/overnight services are also available. All shipping charges are prepaid and the cost is added to the invoice. If you are sending payment with the order, consult us first for shipping charges.

Minimum Orders
Due to the high cost of processing and packaging, the minimum order is $100. (This does NOT apply to orders for lab equipment replacement parts that are not catalog items.) We urge you, whenever possible, to place orders for multiple items to avoid excessive costs for all concerned.

Export Orders

SPEX SamplePrep LLC maintains authorized dealers in many countries around the world. Please contact SPEX SamplePrep LLC for futher information.

Orders from countries without authorized SPEX SamplePrep LLC dealers may be placed directly with SPEX SamplePrep LLC., 203 Norcross Avenue, Metuchen, NJ 08840. However, export ordering items, instructions, and quotations must be obtained in advance. Orders received without prior agreement may be returned to the purchaser.

Payment

Prepayment of merchandise cost and shipping charges is required for all export orders. Payment my be made by check, wire transfer, or letter of credit. Minimum order for letter of credit payments is $2,500.00. All banking charges must be to buyer's account. Any letter of credit that states "banking charges are for the account of the beneficiary" WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Payment may also be made by credit card (VISA, MasterCard, or American Express).

Warranty

SPEX SamplePrep LLC. guarantees its products and new equipment against defects in materials or workmanship for two years from the date of original shipment. Repairs, replacements, or parts are guaranteed for 30 days or for the remaining original warranty period (whichever is greater) for the item that was repaired or replaced. Items not produced by SPEX SamplePrep LLC carry the manufacturer's warranty only.

To Arrange A Return Shipment

We want you to be happy with whatever you purchase from SPEX SamplePrep LLC. Please bring any problem to our attention, but please DO NOT RETURN any item before contacting us for a Return Authorization Number and instructions. Unauthorized returns will be refused. Cost for all return transportation is the responsibility of the customer. Credit for returned merchandise will be issued only after the goods have been received and inspected and must be returned within 60 days of shipment. Returned goods are subject to a 25% restocking charge up to a maximum of $200.00.
