 2000 Geno/Grinder
- Unique vigorous up-and-down grinding/pulverizing action.
- Prepares plant material such as seeds, stems, roots, leaves, and certain animal tissue.
- Sample preparation is completed in about two minutes with the addition of 1-2 grinding balls to the sample along with a buffer solution.

  2600 Cryo-Station
A holding station for samples which must be kept chilled to preserve RNA for extraction. The insulated outer jacket of the Cryo-Station is chilled with liquid nitrogen and can be filled automatically or manually. Two titer plates can be placed in the Cryo-Station well to be filled and kept cold. The well can also hold a chilled cutting board to cut up sensitive samples for RNA analysis. |
2650 Cryo-Block
A single piece of extruded aluminum, to be chilled and then inserted into a 2210 Titer Plate. The Cryo-Block fingers fit the gaps between the round cells, and keep temperatures inside the cells low enough to preserve RNA. 2195 Large Capacity Clamp Assembly
An oversize clamp that will hold centrifuge tubes or a double load of titer plates. Designed to hold twelve standard 50 ml centrifuge tubes (115 mm length) with 2196 Adapter, or twenty-four standard 15 ml centrifuge tubes (119 mm length) with 2197 Adapter. Also holds four deepwell titer plates, stacked two per side of clamp. Rubber mat for positioning between stacked titer plates is included. The 2195 Clamp Assembly is not available installed on the Geno/Grinder but must be purchased separately. Recommended for Geno/Grinder clamp speeds under 1200 strokes/minute. |

6814 AutoExtractor
The Model 6814 AutoExtractor is an electrically powered version of our catalog #6754/6804 manual
extractors and vial openers. Cold vials can now be opened easily, making the grinding process more
efficient. In medium to high-throughput laboratory facilities, operator fatigue associated with the manual extractors is eliminated, increasing the speed of sample processing. |
6900 Cryogenic Gloves
These cryogenic gloves are designed to protect the hands and arms from the hazards associated with ultra-cold materials. Highly recommended when operating the 6750 and 6850 Freezer/Mills. These multi-layer-insulated gloves are lightweight and flexible, allow excellent dexterity, and are comfortable to wear for extended periods of time. 6820 Auto-Fill System for the 6850 Freezer/Mill®
The 6820 Auto-Fill System is designated to automatically maintain the required level of liquid nitrogen within the 6850 Freezer/Mill during operation. The Auto-Fill System is a more efficient and safer way to handle the volume of liquid nitrogen required for processing samples in the 6850 Freezer/Mill. This automated system reduces the loss of liquid nitrogen and saves the time lost when manually filling the reservoir.
The Auto-Fill System requires a cryogenic transfer hose, not included with the 6820 package. These transfer hoses are available in different lengths and can be constructed with different materials. The transfer hose must be configured with a 1/2 inch JIC female flare nut at each end for proper installation. The 6820 system is supplied with a safety relief valve that connects to the liquid nitrogen supply via a 1/2 inch JIC female flare nut.
The Auto-Fill System is available as an option that can be installed when you place an order for a 6850 Freezer/Mill or as a retrofit package for 6850 systems that are already in service.
